Chair Yoga is a 60 minute instructional session of Yoga and relaxation. The session begins with aroma therapy by applying scented lotion and encouraging each participant to massage the hand lotion into their hands and wrists. The aroma often evokes fond memories from ones past. Participants engage in the Yoga routine with emphasis on cognitive training and muscle memory. Each session concludes with a one to one gentle neck and shoulder massage.
